How do I set private and group lessons ?In the templates section you will see a field called maximum number of athletes. If you set the value to 1, it will be a private session. For a group session set a value greater than 1 equal to the number of athletes you want for a session.

How to schedule a session ?First you need to set up a template (this is where you describe what you will be coaching, where the sessions will take place, how many athletes will attend the session, the price of the session etc.). Once the template is set up then save it. Navigate to the schedule tab on the Coach app and select the template you wand to schedule, pick the date, time and location of the session and hit schedule. Make sure that the province is correctly entered while scheduling your session.

Where can I view all my scheduled sessions ?All scheduled session are visible under the manage section of the communiti coach app. Here you can filter by date to see sessions on a specific days. You will also be able to view and message the athletes that have signed up for your sessions.

When will my session (template) be visible on the app for athletes to book?Only scheduled templates with an active session are visible on the athlete app. If you have a template with no future date scheduled then it will not be visible on the app for athletes. We strongly recommend that you update your schedule frequently and always ensure that you have session scheduled for a future date.

How will I know when an athlete books my session ?You will be notified when a session is booked. You can view the athletes that have signed up for for your sessions on the manage tab of the communiti coach app.

How do I check in athletes to my session ?On the day of the session, you will see a start button next to your session (on the manage page). Click on the start button and a QR code will appear on your screen. Show this to your athletes and ask them to scan the code using the Communiti app for athletes. Once an athlete has successfully checked in, the athletes name will turn green in your list. It is mandatory to check in athletes for sessions.

Do I have to check in athletes for my session ?Yes this is a mandatory requirement, this is how we confirm that a session actually occured and the athlete was present. If a check in is not performed then there will no payout amount for that session.

What is the cancellation and refund policy for athletes ?Athletes are offered the option to cancel their session for free upto 24 hours before the session start time. If they cancel before the 24 hour deadline then the athlete is refunded and will disappear from your athletes list for that specific session. If the athlete cancels after the deadline then there is no refund and the coach will get the amount paid out.

What is the cancellation and refund policy for coaches ?Coaches are free to cancel their session anytime. All athletes are automatically refunded when a coach cancels their session. We do recommend that you chat with your athletes in the app prior to cancelling your session.

What do I do once I finish my coaching session ?Once the coaching session is complete, you will see a close button that appears on the screen (this is visible by clicking on the the session in the manage tab of the communiti coach app). You have to click on close my session after you have successfully completed your session. This is mandatory and notifies us that you have completed your session and accrues your amount for payout.

Is it mandatory to click on close session once I finish my session ?Yes it is mandatory to close your session once you have completed coaching the session. If you don't close your session then it will not be added to the payout list session and you will not be paid out for that session.

What happens if I don't click on close session after my coaching session ?If you don't close your session then it will not be added to the payout list session and you will not be paid out for that session. Always close your sessions as soon as you are done coaching.

How do I know how much money i have earned ?In the finances tab of the communiti coach app, you can see both the amount accrued for payout and the amount that has already been paid out (earned by you).

Where do I get the money for my coaching sessions ?The payout amount will be directly deposited into the same bank account you used when you created an account on the Communiti coach app.

When do I get the money for my coaching sessions ?Payouts are made weekly on a 7 day rolling basis. So if you had a coaching session on Monday and Wednesday you will be paid out for that session on the following Monday and Wednesday respectively.

How will I know when a payout has been made ?You will be notified of each payout and you can review the information on the finances tab of the communiti coach app.

What does the sign up process look like ?It is a simple and short process: 1) Apply to be a coach (On website or in the Communiti app - IOS or Android) 2) We will schedule a call to verify your skills and experiences (within 24 hours) 3) Background Check 4) Once approved we will send you a link to the Communiti Coach app

How do I become a coach?You will have to request to be a coach. It can be done by submitting the form at the bottom of this webpage or in the Communiti App (Under Profile > Apply to be a Coach). Once a request has been sent we will reach out to verify your account and skills within 24 hours.

How will I be notified about my coach application?You will be notified via email.

How long do I have to wait for the verification process?It is usually a short wait. Once you submit your application to be a coach we will reach out to you via email within 24 hours to set up a call to review your skills and experiences.

Why wasn't my application approved?it is usually because of one of the following reasons: 1. You did not provide a valid email for us to reach out to you 2. You did not respond to our email to verify your skills and experiences 3. There was an issue with the background check

Can I reapply to be a coach?Yes, you may reapply to be a coach. Please mention in the application what has changed since you applied last time.

Does Communiti run a background check?Yes, we run a background check on all our coaches.

What documents do I need to apply?You will need the following documents: 1. Demonstrated ability in a sport (degree/past coaching experience/above intermediate skills in the sport). Links to documents/videos/score sheets etc. can be beneficial although not mandatory. 2. Copy of Valid drivers License.

Can I apply to be a coach if I'm on a visa in Canada?Yes. Anyone can apply to be a coach as long as you have Valid Status in Canada (Visa/PR/Citizen).

How do I manage my coaching listing?Once you are approved, you'll get access to the Communiti Coach app - you'll be able to list your coaching services, manage your schedule, chat with your athletes etc. from the app directly.

How do I modify my coaching service?You can use the Communiti Coach app to modify your listing.

How do I get access to the Communiti Coach app?Once you are approved to be a coach, we will send you a link to download the app

Who sets the price for the coaching session?You set the price for your session. Once your account is approved you will get access to the Communiti Coach App where you will be able to set the price for your coaching session.

How do I get paid?Once your are approved to be a Coach you will get access to the Communiti Coach app where you will be able to link your bank account. All payouts will be made directly into your bank account.
